Brutal REALITY CHECK For You (Online Marketing)

Post 14 of 40

Online Marketing Can Give You Financial FREEDOM...

Yet, MOST People Coming Online Give it a "HALF-ASSED" Effort!

So here is my point of this SHORT BUT PERTINENT post

I was going through some training recently...

(yeah, even after being successful I STILL educate myself in marketing)

...and I was reading through a REPORT on some traffic strategies

and the person giving the training wrote the following...

Pay Attention...  REALLY Pay Attention!

Now, here is what I want from you...

SERIOUSLY think this through...

...truly ponder what this person was saying there

THEN TELL ME YOUR POINT OF VIEW

but be careful in trying to be "clever" cause one can ONLY REALLY

share when one has their OWN RESULTS to "prove" their point!

ESPECIALLY, if you don't agree with that message!

---------------------
And here's what I'll do..
---------------------

If I can see some real ambition, focus and determination in your comments BELOW

without trying to "kiss my @#$"...

who knows...

I might even decide to work with you PERSONALLY  😉

Sincerely

Lourens

PS. Leave your uncensored thoughts on this matter!

PPS. I always thought I was "straight" but that message beats me.

  • digitmediax

Hi JP… thanks for your post man 😉 and that is FOR SURE true… people should NOT come online and expect to “hit home runs” within their first month.. not even in their first 90 days… try getting into a car for the first time and then “EXPECTING” to go of driving without crashing and then tell us how that went… lol EVERYTHING that is WORTH it in the end costs some time, money, effort and learning of some skill…. the sooner one realizes that…. the faster you break free online.. 😉 (so this means get into marketing training)

  • digitmediax

Well what can I say… you HIT THE NAIL on the head with a few points Lynn… THANKS for your post! #1 Nope, David WOODY did not write that… lol.. he’d rather try and get everyone to “meditate”… #2 Working with blinders on… you’re dead right.. lol that is UNFORTUNATELY… EXACTLY what MOST people need to do whenever they get in front of their PC’s / Laptops… cause IF THEY DO… guess what? They’ll FINALLY reach success! #3 “wake up and smell the coffee” lol… yeah sure they do… “you can’t wish your success” EXACTLY… that is why getting online with the WRONG expectations are KILLING PEOPLES dreams…. thanks again Lynn! 🙂

  • digitmediax

Hi Tanja.. thanks for your comment.. you are an example to all the lazy ones that have no back bone and that would moan and complain about their circumstances and YET they don’t want to go through the learning curve that ANY TYPE of success requires…! You KEEP GOING… cause success will just come SUDDENLY.. how do I know? cause I have been online LONG ENOUGH and SUCCESSFUL LONG ENOUGH to know what happens… you go through all the frustrations of learning… all the hours.. all the spending of money… an nothing SEEMS to work… and then suddenly results come FASTER THEN you could have ever expected… WORK… and CONTINUE to work FOR THAT moment! It’s WORTH it!!!

    • Steyn T. Müller

It’s like I read in some of the training material Tanja pointed me to. “In order to understand the principal of becoming a Top Income Earner in MLM you you first understand the story of the farmer……”Each year the farmer plows his field and plants his seeds…. After that it’s a daily task of watering and praying. The farmer does this everyday for weeks without seeing any crop, and without knowing which seeds will sprout…. I also feel like I’m doing all the work for nothing, doing 3-4 facebook posts a day and 2 or more tweets a day with no results….YET!!! That’s planting the seeds and watering them daily. I believe you when you say Lourens, “success will come SUDDENLY.” Thank you for your guidance, leadership and help.

      • digitmediax

VERY WELL PUT Steyn… THAT analogy should get the picture across 😉 THANKS for that… looking forward to meeting you personally in a few days!

  • digitmediax

Hey Andrew… read my comments above… cause you will get it… it’s worth it my friend! Each of us have DIFFERENT things we need to learn in order to become proficient as we are all different. The goal online for ANYONE should only be three things: #1 Get into a GOOD… VERY GOOD business opportunity.. NOT the “sit on your @#$ doing nothing and making money that falls from the sky type” businesses – aka: HYIP’s – we’ve all had a learning curve with those… #2 Build a list… which obviously happens through driving traffic to your capture pages and collecting the persons details via your auto-responder.. #3 Building a relationship with those people on that list THROUGH JUST being personal… showing that you are a real person, with all the same things happening in life… and not some robot… out to rip them off 😉

    • Andrew Croot

Thanks Lourens…totally agree and appreciate the reinforcement of these 3 key points!!! Total focus is on 1, 2, 3 and repeat!

  • digitmediax

Hi Nina… as always, you are doing great and glad you are focused! PS. read the rest of my replies above 🙂

    • Niña Angeli

Thanks Lourens…your continued support and passion is much appreciated…:)

  • James

Hey man, what can you say…I’ve been working this Internet business since 2008 and believe me it ain’t easy you must work it and improve your game each and every day adjust to all the changes and bull s*#% and if you do that right, the right things will develop for the right reasons..I have plenty of so called Internet marketing associates that just thing riches just should fall out the sky for them.Lourens just cuts to the meat.. Which saves you time and cut some of the learning searching curve because he lays it out here for you….

    • digitmediax

Hi James… that’s so true my friend… thanks for your comment!

  • Gerald Allen

Lourens, I have worked with many leaders in this industry and had minimum success. The reason why was because I thought just like one of those “entitled to something for nothing kinda people” It got me no where. I didn’t have the mindset! What you stand for is Leadership with a kick in the a%$ and that is what we need. It’s all about getting off of our butts and doing something about it. Success does not happen over night for anyone. You have to sweat, stay away from the bar, skip the late hotel nights, put the drink down…AND GET TO WORK! You also have to want it bad enough and believe you HAVE IT! No one can succeed if they believe they will fail because they are right they will fail. Your leadership is about guiding us and giving us the tools to succeed but we HAVE TO DO THE WORK and do it every single day with PASSION. I stand by this because I’ve seen what PASSION, HARD WORK, A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND MINDSET, FOCUS AND DETERMINATION WILL DO! The GREAT WALL OF CHINA WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY…SUCCESS IS NOT EITHER. Thanks Lourens….This was another great eye opener. NOW LET’S MOVE MOUNTAINS TOGETHER!

    • digitmediax

Hey Gerald… thanks for your comment mate… this was well put: “entitled to something for nothing kinda people” the internet is FILLED with them… people would rather jump into something where they can get into without any skill, any determination, any goals, any criteria, any leadership ability, throw a few hundred (or thousand) bucks at to get started and then get paid of DOING NOTHING… than go an learn what needs to be learned to build a REAL business online… and then yet they COMPLAIN about the internet and “all it’s scams”… people should WAKE UP… it’s because of THAT attitude of wanting something for nothing that ALL THESE SCAMS exist… they play right into… 😉

  • Philak-Da Loc-star

Lourens, this post is hard hitting and I completely agree with the message. I have been that person making excuses for failures, I pray every morning and every night before I sleep for financial freedom. I struggle throughout my daily job as a cable tv installer visualizing that alternative lifestyle that I should be living, only to wake back up to a boss I don’t like ,pressuring me with demands and exchanging time for dollars. I’ve signed up for mlsp and have started to post ads to Facebook, no leads as of yet and I’m sure this is because of my lack of discipline and knowledge of marketing. Using my goals of prosperity and freedom alone as the motivation to master marketing has proved not to be enough. I hate admitting it, but I need a marketing coach. And for someone of your caliber lourens, I would be willing to PAY monthly fees for your direct help. As someone who has yet to make any money at all online, I beg you to consider my plea for help.
    Best regards,
    Khalif cotton

    • digitmediax

Hi there Khalif… you never know what might be coming around the corner… keep your head stuck into MLSP… you only got into it recently… it takes time to “get” things… just like finding BALANCE on a bicycle or surfboard does not come in one day or week…. 😉

      • Raymond Kok

I agree with Lourens, Khalif. It takes time. Look at it this way….everything that you’ve tried that has failed has taught you what not to do or at least to refine it and do it better or differently. you’re already miles ahead of people who haven’t even done anything. Just keep on because many people quite right before a breakthrough.

  • Raymond Kok

So true. Just like with any normal business it’s going to take hard work and time. The only difference with building an online empire, as I like to call it, is that once you’ve done the hard work and laid a strong foundation you won’t have to work as hard or the long hours anymore and finally have some true freedom and spend it with your family…BUT you need to build that foundation first else it’ll just collapse. In the words of Tony Robbins what are your MUSTS versus your SHOULDS. If you want success you must change your MUSTS meaning you must decide what you MUST do to succeed and refuse to quite until you have achieved it. You can check Tony’s video here http://youtu.be/tmD7GrKNBIw – if you don’t mind me sharing it with everyone Lourens 🙂

    • digitmediax

      Hey there Raymond… no problem… that’s good.. Tony’s stuff is always good…

  • JJ Consalves

Absolutely true, one cant expect to just jump on board, do nothing and expect major results!!!
With effort, dedication, learning and putting in place what one have learned in the CORRECT manner, success will surely follow…..

    • digitmediax

Hey JJ… thanks for the comment.. true my friend… it’s all about make the commitment… and then not quitting cause one hits some road-bumps…

      • JJ Consalves

No problem my friend. The thing is, one should not let road-bumps be an excuse, you must just get over it and continue…

  • Brian Benningfield

Hi Lourens – crude, but who can argue his point?
My past experience has been that some purported leaders are great with teaching the WHAT but not the HOW.
Like other bloggers I’m more than prepared to set aside a reasonable amount of money to be taught the HOW to build an organisation. Without an organisation (and a reasonably simple system to teach your organisation to build an organisation) you will NEVER reach financial freedom in this business.
YARNELL says: “The deeper your BELIEF level, the greater your success”.
I have an unshakeable belief in Network Marketing; I have the energy; the time; limited funds but looking for a step-by-step system for getting the right basic tools in place to build an organisation – and to teach my organisation to do the same in order to tap into the incredible opportunities you and Alby have made availlable.
Hope you and your family have a safe trip!

    • digitmediax

Thanks for your comment Brian… sure true… the start for anyone should be the resource we share… it covers ALL DIFFERENT aspects of marketing and online business building etc… this industry is an ever learning scenario.. just like anything else really… (my othere comments cover some more answers too)

  • Rutherford

This post in really “in your face!!!” People who are no. 1 “get it” and actually cherish reading something like this. People who are no.2 get offended and go sulk in the corner. Haven’t personally got my results yet to be honest, but I know I will get there! I know I’m at the right track because of the pain, and all successful marketers have been through the all the pain as well. What makes them successful is that they were willing to stick it out and commit no matter what happens.

    • digitmediax

ABSOLUTELY Rutherford… you “get it” 😉 (thanks for your comment)

  • Andries Roux

For even the most worthless, gutless online marketer there is always HOPE its a DECISION away. I have learned one thing in life NEVER to write someone off and say that person will never make it in this online business or in life, your words might come back and bite you in the ass.

    • digitmediax

Hi Andries… lol I’m not really sure if you “GET” this post above and what that person wrote… then again, I agree that there is always HOPE… unfortunately THAT is not what this post above is about… it’s about MOST people who want to make money online OR offline wanting to DO THAT WITHOUT REALLY needing & wanting to do what is needed in order to reach success… 😉 (where someone said a person “will not make it” I don’t know.. and is kind off a general statement… cause there are DEFINITELY criteria that needs to be met in order to create ANY KIND of success)

  • Andries Roux

Lourens, we have all failed in this game. My idea was just to encourage all the losers out there that there is HOPE, when you Decide, WORK HARD, STAY CONSISTENT and as you always say: FOCUS. We all can do it.

    • digitmediax

Hi again Andries… well thanks for clarifying that 😉 now I know and others too what it is that you meant… So yes, people… STAY FOCUSED.. DON’T QUIT!

  • Marilee Kennedy

Lourens – First of all – awesome pic of you surfing!!!

    • digitmediax

      thanks Marilee

  • Marilee Kennedy

I have to agree with this dude, even though I largely fall into the #2 category. Like most people, I endeavor to become a #1. It’s true, life gets in the way, but we all have the same 24 hrs in a day. It’s up to us how we use these precious hrs.

I agree that most people ARE lazy, and that most DO want and even EXPECT that things will be handed to them on a silver platter. I also agree that in this age of ENTITLEMENT, too may people have unrealistic expectations about what they will receive for what they are willing to put out. I see this all the time even in my retail job. I’m talking about customers here. People expect and even demand way too much. I can’t understand where this attitude comes from. It seems, like the author of the quoted post says, that it’s a bi-product of our overly protected and spoiled society. This is what I see anyway.

Okay, onto becoming a #1. Time to go learn how to market…

    • digitmediax

THANKS Marilee… VERY WELL said… hope people read your comment over and over again! 🙂

  • Fernando Bonegio

OK, I don’t like the language, but that is just a shock tactic to either rile the reader or change his thinking.

Here are some facts and these have been true since time immemorial – and this applies to online AND offline businesses.

    1. It is human nature to let someone else do the work. We are all guilty of this.
    2. Most of us do NOT consider our stakeholders – do we even know who they are? Family, friends, your downline, shareholders, and even (think about this carefully..) your unborn children and their descendants to be, organisastions that depend on you (church, charity etc) and many others. Stop thinking of yourself and ask how best you can serve others.
    3. Once these have been considered, few people will ask themselves “am I serving their best interests?” (in this case, financially). Very often, finances are required to handle issues (like health) in our stakeholders’ lives.
    4. Once these questions have been answered, is the anwer is “yes”, fine, but relook at it and ask if you are doing the best for them. If the answer is “NO”, now is the time to look at yourself and ask “What do I need to change in myself so that I can best serve others?”.

Number 4 above is the key, isn’t it? What do we have to change in ourselves, what do we have to break away from, what do we have to be, do, have AND become to achieve success and become the best leaders we can be. Doing our best is NOT good enough, we have to do what it takes! Excuses get us nowhere – we MUST be responsible and accountable and it takes time and effort. It’s a bit like the story of the Chinese Bamboo, isn’t it?.

I am not there yet (it often seems to be like a moving goal post), but I will be!

    • digitmediax

Thanks Fernando for always giving your input 😉

  • Basheer Hasan

    Hey coach,

My point of view is this,”I want, and I intend to accomplish Financial Freedom for myself, and for all those that I am blessed to Attract that wants it too!”

In the above article, the author speaks about two kinds of people. The person that I am is the one who intends to ‘Accomplish Pure Awesomeness’ in this life.

I am not about to Give Up Now or Ever! I joined my first make money from home business (Amway) in ‘1972’. To this day I aways kept a job in addition to trying to Find Financial Freedom away from a J.O.B. For 39 years I failed at this, and I did not experience any success worth talking about until I met you 19 months ago online.

Although I have experience success to the tune of 10’s of thousands of dollars in this short time of working with you, it has had it’s share of failed bussinesses and opportunities.

But my biggest take away is this, I don’t have the youth or the strength that I had early one, but I still have the same and even greater Desire to be FREE. I will take in as much as I can of what you share with us and I will implement it to the best of my ability. And I will be Free or Die Trying!

    • digitmediax

thanks Basheer… we all grow through time, effort and failures… some of us have more to grow than others… and on top of this our knowledge, wisdom and insight into online stuff grows and has grown tremendously over the last 2 years specifically… you know as well as I do that we are at the right place, at the right time now… KEEP GOING! 😉

      • Basheer Hasan

I believe, like you, that we are where our failures and successes has brought us to, the place where we are to have our Finest Hour in our Accomplishments. With the state of the world’s economies, I think you have chosen the Very Best stage for us to camp out on and to develope skills that will not only impact our life, but the lives of So Many at such a Critical Time. I do intend to KEEP GOING, REGARDLESS OF WHOM OR WHAT! I’M COMING, Coach! 😉

  • Peter

Hi there Lourens. As you know I will be the last person on earth to ” kiss your @#$ 🙂 But I like this post. More people should tell it as it is and lead by example. Some people will like you, most people won’t. But who cares? As long as you are honest and open in the things you say and do. For myself: I just moved into a bigger house (on a big property) mainly because my earnings on the internet. So this will show people there is money to be made here! But my dreams and goals are much bigger than just bricks and mortar. I am fulfilling my ultimate dream: living where ever I want and making money doing it and helping a few people in the proces who also have their specific dreams and goals. Because in the end: it is not about the money…. its about complete FREEDOM

    • digitmediax

Thanks Peter very much for your post… having you on my team is a both a pleasure and benefit 😉 Your work ethic and determination is paying off and the new property is the result… Thanks for sharing your comment! And yes… STRAIGHT TALK is what this industry online and MOST people living in some form of “entitlement syndrome” needs to hear! 😉

  • digitmediax

Hi Felix… THANK YOU for this post… I could not have said it better.. you mentioned ALL THE RELEVANT points needed here. I do hope people take time to read your post SLOWLY cause they might just ACTUALLY LEARN something from you here… THANKS again..!

  • Stef Tsompanidis

First thanks that you give all theese very interesting thoughts and videos and we can write and read comments.I do not know the person who said this and also the bigger picture in his talk.Of course there are people who do not willing to take action and others who will. But think that the most people say yes to money ,freedom from job and lifestyle. And the same people work everyday, with much effort for many years just to live and pay the bills. So can I say that they are lazy?Or that they do not believe that they can create a lifestyle for them, nobody told them ever that they deserve this. And you can see that when they read some books, find the right people and bussines, begin to dream and to believe then they can take action, and this action with the power of their dreams will make the true results for them. Most people work so hard for less money and can’t believe that they can work less for big money.About me I take action many times but I know that I must have more commitment. Also I don’t like the “polite” style of this person.Sorry for my english,I’m from Greece.

    • digitmediax

Hi there Stef… thanks for your comment… 😉

  • Duane Rush

I agree with the article. I don’t have any experience with internet marketing and to hear the truth is what I truly need. I watch a lot of football on TV Saturday & Sunday I realize that the time I put into could be spent on building and studying marketing. This article is a eye opener for me. I definitely know some areas in my life that needs improvement. I really enjoyed reading posts from everyone else and find it inspiring.

    • digitmediax

Hi Duane… yes, it’s “in your face” but it’s true… thanks for your comment… glad you found value from it 😉

  • Hi Lourens. Thank you for sharing that article, I do agree with what it says. I have spent a few years online trying to find a way and business to free myself with. I have always realized that there IS work to be done, like the article said, there is no such thing as “something for nothing”.

I have to be honest though and say that I have tried a few “opportunities” that didn’t need much work to workout as intended. But I soon realized that this was an attempt to find a shortcut to the money, and guess what, in the end it never paid off.

It’s only now when I have started to educate myself, grow myself from the inside and REALLY started to pay attention, that I can feel change is happening to me and that I am on the right course. I am surrounding myself with Mentors, Leaders, a Team and learning stuff every single day (or at least trying to), to keep my momentum going.

I agree with the article above, there is really no time and room for sugarcoating if you want to make it in life. Tell it like it is, I am ready!

Where I’m at in my life right now is the perfect time for me to begin my journey to make it. I’m mature enough to realize what matters in life and what doesn’t, and I’m happy that I have my priorities crystal clear.

Network Marketing is the best thing that happend to me. I never realized before I got in that it isn’t just about making money, and that it would take me on a journey of self developement and growing my personality. As well as experiencing the sincere respect and positive energy among fellow Network Marketers. (Where else can you find this)

Lourens, I’ve said it before but I say it again. Thank You for leading the way and giving us the guidance needed to Make It Online!

    Respect / Fredrik

    • digitmediax

      Hey Frederick

I couldn’t have said it any better.. thanks for the comment 🙂

      • Thank You Lourens 🙂 You are much welcome.

  • Well spoken Felix 😀 You will make it too. Keep going. And thx for inspiring.

  • Peter

Bit offensive ( for someone),bit shocking ( for few) but absolutly true ( for everyone who ” want to make it online” … I honestly have to say I like this guy style..!!!

  • Nadia

Hi Lourens now we meet at a special skype group of telexfree you probably don’t even remember that! What you are actually saying is abundance is only for the diligent witch will never be achieved by the lazy people and I must admit that is very true, you must be persistent, you have to change your mindset and understand if you go to bed with no results and did nothing at all to change the situation you indeed will wake up poor so yes I totally agree yes! The b.s. they are selling you on the internet leaving you more broke then earned a penny isn’t even alway A half-assed effort, as well as a rich getting richer thanks to the program itself let’s be honest! We all work different! I strongly believe it’s indeed important to know exactly what you want and how you want to achieve that so in that good order there are many ways you can use a system and a marketing plan, yet some will always fail and that is indeed the reason why you must learn as much as you can and apply it and the more you learn the more you understand you don’t even know half and want to learn even more! However I do see a lot of people doing it wrong still they first want to make a lot more money before they want to help others I’m convinced you can become a social entrepreneur and you can commit yourself to earning money while helping others!

    • digitmediax

Thanks Nadia for your reply.. so true… Results come to those that diligently strive to better themselves in only two areas… SKILL & MINDSET. (not wanting to do that is WHY people stay broke and struggling) “Money and Excuses DO NOT co-exist!” 🙂

  • Arend Jan Lichtendonk

Hi Lourens. Thank you for the article

Has the Global education systems, politicians and governments made the masses lazy by “brain washing” them in to what is seen as appropriate standards and behaviors in society?

I am sure that there are many of the baby boomer generation that can and will resonate with is idea, as we were all told, go to school, get a good education and find a safe secure safe job. There are many out there that have done this and what happen to Mr/Mrs average because of this ideology which has not kept up with the changes in society? Basically they have lost the
ability to use their brains to “REALLY THINK”.

I am sure that we have all heard these statements at sometimes in your lives, “it’s too difficult, I don’t understand it, I can’t do that etc etc. Is this the system society has created, or is it the individual being“F…ING” lazy as the author states

Let’s go bit more in-depth. For most individuals entering society and the corporate world they learn a specific functions or roles with its easy benefits, which obviously has its own “in the box thought challenges”, where over a short period of time the individual manages to master them based on the level of their mind-set. Once achieved, the individual gets into a routine and the
brain subconsciously scales down, remaining at this mind set level, because it is not being feed with new challenges and ideas. (The laziness sets in) This individual is now in a comfort zone till the next shock wave and wake-up call comes around!

Now there are a number of options available to the individual to meet their changing needs. Where that person decides to look MLM or online, where there are supposed “promises of easy money” that individual is made to believe it is an easy option which does not need much effort. Now add this to the individuals comfort zone and scaled down mind-set. Is it not obvious the result will be failure and they will return to what they were doing in there day job and life
in general. In almost every situation reasons for failure will be blamed on external factors if they do not have a mind-set change.

This brings me to my situation where I more than thirty ago made commitment in a conversation to complete a Master’s Degree. After having many blowouts and hitting many potholes looking for that nugget of gold: – there were always excuses that where external, even though I had tried a number of things as well as getting diplomas and been on many developmental courses the goal was not archived. My change only came about when I started reading self-help and motivational books as well as starting my online Master’s Degree in 2010 where I had to see things differently or fail.

What this did, was to make me “REALLY THINK” introspectively about my situations (look at me first before look at the external world) This for me has made me pay attention, created an ethic of learning focus, commitment and hard work which resulted positive motivational changes for me and those around me with each new challenge that lay ahead with the learning journey being far from over.

With these thoughts and experiences I know it’s only up to me to make the difference by helping others to be a part of the change for those who are willing.

“change your mind, to change your life”

The new chapter my life’s journey of being on line for just over year with a partial success and being dumped in an opportunity. I joined Karatbar and PTG team focusing the last three weeks on presenting the opportunity, setting the 1st time AWeber account and PTG training. I feel blessed to get the opportunity to work with leadership who say it as it is, as well as being committed and willing to teach the team in a way that one can achieving my own exciting future.

In almost every situation reasons for failure will be blamed on external factors if they do not have a mind-set change.

This brings me to my situation where I more than thirty ago made commitment in a conversation to complete a Master’s Degree. After having many blowouts and hitting many potholes looking for that nugget of gold: – there were always excuses that where external, even though I had tried a number of things as well as getting diplomas and been on many developmental courses. My
change only came about when I started reading self-help and motivational books as well as starting my online Master’s Degree in 2010 where I had to see things differently or fail.

What this did, was to make me “THINK” introspectively about my situations (look at me first before look at the external world) This for me has made me pay attention, created an ethic of learning focus, commitment and hard work which resulted positive motivational changes for me and those around me with each new challenge that lay ahead with the learning journey being far
    from over.

With these thoughts and experiences I know it’s only up to me, so that in can make the difference by helping others to be a part of the change for the willing.

so for me it was “change my mind, to change my life” (and still going)

This new chapter my life’s journey of being on line for just over year with a partial success and being dumped in an opportunity. I joined Karatbar and PTG team focusing the last three weeks on presenting the opportunity, setting the 1st time AWeber account and PTG training. I feel blessed to get
the opportunity to work with leadership who say it as it is, as well as being
committed and willing to teach the team in a way that one can achieving my own
    exciting future.

Lots of truth in there Arend… thanks for sharing 😉

  • I agree 100%. The man generally tends to be lazy and in today’s society, while many people want everything without effort. Unfortunately it does not work like that.

There is also the fact that these people are often already employed and do not feel compelled to make these efforts enough to change.

The day they have no choice, as far as finding air to breathe, they will do what it must to get to achieve their dream.

I was part of that kind of person, until Lourens opened my eyes.

We must take the decision and convince ourselves that we are in the process of getting there and never give up.

    Thank you again Lourens!

  • Everything in that article I have observed in the on line world, and frankly I was a bit shocked and surprised, because having been in my own businesses from start up, I did not surround myself with lazy ineffectual people, or those who did not want to learn from my skills and talent. I have always worked double time and loving it every day and into the night. Both of my businesses were high end and very successful. Nothing is more demanding than a start up in Manhattan with very little cash. Passion and hard work just like strenuous physical activity creates endorphins and exhilaration just like really good sex! It gets sweaty. Mental exercise is equally challenging and for me – I am totally on the same page with the course of discipline, study, the concepts, integrity and commitment are ingrained, as that value is proven time and again. Trying to learn a new language alone is a bit of a challenge ! But so is surviving Cancer twice – Done! So, I feel really stupid and insecure on this computer sometimes. That wears on me – so this week I found a local technician who can help me a little to better understand some of the required program set ups and to feel a bitmore confident in my limited tech skill set, as I like fast and accurate, and it will take too long on my own. I always delegated most of the tech work – after designing the functions I needed for the business. I do people, sales, concepts, create things in the arts. I am richly talented. This is a new venture for me, but it still requires people skills and the psychology of the DubLi business model is on our side. Since my two dubli account pages are out of sync and useless until Tech can sync them properly – I am writing personal e mails and sending the videos to friends with good connections. I loved the Thursday Lavenia/Karla live event – and let them know it. I need a copy of that one – post haste – Can you get it? I really want to go after that training for the non profits. I have a 501(c)(3) of my own for the Arts and Education in public schools. (of course it’s not currently funded after the medical bills) BUT maybe with a lot of work and a little help from my friends and colleagues that legacy would be the dream – plus replacing my retirement account, and paying off all personal debt. There are objectives. I want to enjoy my life again. So I just told you what’s on my mind – and it’s not the pathetic truth in that article. That’s not my world. Enough for now. Terri

  • I find that article really amusing but so pertinent at the same time.
The reason the HYIPs have such a following is that 90% of people are lazy and think that they are going to find that “magic bullet” that is somehow going to fill their bank accounts on auto pilot without them having to do a damn thing. Usually an expensive exercise, ask me I know.
The best and only way to secceed in this space is to shove your ego in your pocket, specially if you have no success to back up any opinions you might have and just listen, really listen, learn and IMPLIMENT.

lol… exactly Dene.. couldn’t add much to what you have said 😉

  • I started seeing this laziness through kids these days. Because they have a free bus ride to school with all kinds of laws to protect them, they believe that the world owe them everything and they barely make any effort to reach their goals. Yes I agree, success is good but it does take a certain type of personality and mindset to start…..
